Maths Syllabus
First and Second Class
We focus on these core areas, understanding the ‘Why’, applying the concept and then starting to do basic problem solving. We work on memory games, so division and multiplication becomes natural so we can focus on progressing to more difficult ideas.

Third and Fourth Class
We focus on these core areas, ensuring students understand the ‘Why’, applying the concept and then working on problem solving. Third to Fourth Class is an important leap forward in Maths from first and second class, we work on revising concepts learned and grasping them so we can apply them. We group core areas together and work on them understanding how they relate to each other.

We help students become proficient with the ‘How’, and then apply this to more complex problem solving. We are striving to grow student’s in their ability and prepare them for entering secondary school. We will also look ahead to some first year topics.
